This website is operated by Kinstone. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Kinstone. By visiting mykinstone.com or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"), together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy (the Kinstone Promise). If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the online e-commerce platform that lets us sell our products to you.

1. Using the site

You must be at least the age of majority where you live to place an order, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, not to interfere with its security or operation, and not to copy or reuse its content, images or designs without our written permission.

2. Products and personalisation

Every Kinstone piece is made to order with the names, initials, months or stones you choose. Please check spelling, months, sizes and options before you order: we make the piece exactly as entered. Our photos show the pieces as accurately as we can, but colours and stones can look slightly different from one screen to another, and each piece is finished by hand.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in your local currency and include duties and import taxes where the product page says so. Shipping costs are shown in the cart and at checkout before you pay. We may change prices and offers at any time, but the price you pay is the one shown when you place your order. Payments are processed securely by Shopify and our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example when a product is unavailable, when there is an obvious pricing error, or when we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full. Because every piece is made for you, we can change or cancel an order only before it goes into production: write to us as soon as possible.

5. Promotions and gifts

Offers such as "Buy 1, get the 2nd free" apply automatically in the cart under the conditions shown on the site, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may end at any time. Free pieces and gifts follow the same Kinstone Promise as the pieces you pay for.

6. Shipping, returns and the Kinstone Promise

Delivery times, the Christmas dates, shipping protection, remakes, refunds and the 2-Year Stone Promise are set out in our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.

7. Reviews and content you send us

If you send us a review, photo, comment or idea, you allow us to use it, edit it for length and publish it on our site, emails and social media, without payment. You confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not break any law or anyone's rights.

8. Intellectual property

The Kinstone name, logo, designs, photos, videos and texts on this site belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our written permission.

9. Third-party links and services

The site may link to or use services run by third parties (payment, delivery tracking, social media). We are not responsible for their content or practices; their own terms apply.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or our products, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on this page when you placed it.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
